Grants Manager and Editor

Candice Helsing is an experienced editor with a background in social services and community outreach. Primarily working with at-risk youth in her native Washington, U.S., Helsing is also tasked with building a strong network of resource providers to serve students in crisis. She also works as a responder at Eastern Washington University’s well-respected Writers’ Center, assisting students, staff, and faculty with research and writing.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and a Master of Arts in interdisciplinary studies from Eastern Washington University and a Master of Arts in sociology from Northeastern University. Her research focuses on the social psychological influence of social media on international conflict with particular emphasis on Israel and Palestine.

Always a student of history and culture, Helsing is a member of the Boston Lykeion Ellinidon Greek Dance organization. Otherwise, she spends her spare time writing and traveling.
